Da Chan Bay Terminal One is wholly owned by Dachan Bay Modern Port Development Co. Ltd., which has two shareholders:
Modern Terminals Limited (www.ModernTerminals.com) ¨C Hong Kong's longest-established terminal operator, which has a 65-percent shareholding; and
Shenzhen Dachan Bay Port Investment & Development Co. Ltd ¨C a company under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shenzhen Municipal Government, which has a 35-percent shareholding.
Between them, the two companies are making a substantial investment in the development of Da Chan Bay Terminal One into a world-class container terminal that provides the highest standards of services to exceed its customers' expectations.
The Terminal commenced operations at the end of 2007 and welcomed the first vessel in Jan 2008.
